Late in the season, entering the garden, we’re abruptly drawn to the sight of an icy apparition, accompanied by moving strains of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. No longer in control of our gaze, we experience it landing on 3 prominent persimmon- colored beards. Immediately followed by engaging, soft greenish falls. Our picture nicely captures the payoff of Classic Cool - crisp white standards delivering an appealing freshness to the conclusion of the season.
Listen to Ravel’s Bolero build to a crescendo as you
watch a time lapse of an iris blooming.
